The Banjaran, Ipoh for CNY :D

Hey guys ;D

 

So yeah, Happy 2014 <3 and Happy Chinese New Year!

 

sorry for being extremely late! er anyways, every year my

 

 family goes to Ipoh to visit my grandmother's side of the

 

 family. & this year, we stayed at a place called "The

 

 Banjaran" which was a pretty cool place, (that's why im

 

blogging about it so I can like 'share' the experience)

*some of the pictures are taken with my phone; and

some of them are like stolen from my cousin's fb album x)

I will clearly state which is which though ok so here goes.

 

 

Okay the weird part was, I think it was like 'made' for married

 

 couples to have their honeymoon or something.. cauz the

 

 receptionist was like 'normally only two people share a

 

 room'. but the room is so freaking big, like what a total waste

 

 of space! o; ok Lets begin!

This place was called Jeff's Cellar.

 

But unfortunately it was like closed(?) during our stay so we

 

didnt get a chance to go in la ):

There are two types of villas here btw;

 

the water-villa and garden-villa thing.

 



 

Our villa :D (my family's) my cousin's stay in Villa 1

 

which is like really near the entrance; and my grandparents

 

stay in Villa 5 so yeah, we're neighbours ;D

First thing you see when you open the door is

 

a swimming pool >:D

This seat thing can fit like 5 people

 



 

And then behold the room >:D was really happy cauz of

 

the super big bed!

First i would like to say sorry cauz the quality of the photos

 

that I took of the bathroom was really ..... cauz i was like

 

in a hurry... cauz i wanted to go outside already...

 

There are two sinks btw o; one is prepared for a female, the other for a male. (honeymoon theory)

ok er from this view there are two doors on the right and left,

 

on the left is to the toiletbowl; on the right is to the shower.

 



And from the shower room right, there is another door to this

 

outdoor bathtub thing :'D which i did not try, cauz i

 

was worried that if there were like pervs hiding o.O

The only thing that was like very -_-" for me, is the food.

 

Like dont get me wrong, i love food, i am definitely a food

 

person; but the food here was like so expensive

 

and the portion was like so small, -__-"" and there

 

weren't a lot of choices so I was VERY

 

DISAPPOINTED ): but I guess its because the quality

 

of the food was really good, its just not my kind of food

 

I guess...

There were like 13 of us and we kind of like ordered

 

the same thing or shared the same thing, so yeah -__-""

 

ANYWAYS, after walking around and REALLY enjoying

 

nature; I felt the 'forgive and forget' vibe thing hahahha.

 

ok I think im funny. :'D forgive me. ok shut up jerm.

 

moving on, we went to try the 'hot dipping pot' which was

 

like 45 degrees Celsius. which is REALLY HOT OK. 

 

But, I tried something like that once in korea, but it was

 

okay cauz it was like snowin when I went there so this is

 

 more tropical I guess hahaha

Next we went to "Dr.Fish" which is like the thing where

 

you put your feet into the water and the fishes suck it

 

HAHAHHA ok the description sounds wrong but you know

 

what I mean ;D the wimpy me did not, ok let me rephrase

that, had no guts to dip my not-so precious legs in the water

 filled with deadly feet sucking fish. Instead, i took pictures of

 my cousins and my sis(who loves getting sucked my fishes)

with the killer fishes ;D

was bored waiting for their legs to be sucked so I

 

asked my sis to take pics of me and rocks hahaha

 

Rocks are my friends :'D

 



 

Oh then we started our journey to check out some caves o.O

 

But on the way we obviously took some photos right....

Then we reached this lounge or something ( im sorry that I

 

don't have like a lot of information...)

 

Then, BEHOLD MY FAV PLACE TO GO :D

 

The Crystal Cave <33

 

Its pretty much a little room with air-conditioning

 

and lots of cushions for you to sit on to basically relax;

 

plus point is there is like background music and

 

crystals on the rocks; which is cool for me. idk.

like the katy perry song 'hot and cold' after seeing a hot

 

dipping pot; obviously they should have a cold dipping pot

 

right. turns out i was right :D the water was like ice cold.

 

which was nice after coming out from the steam cave;

 



 

oh right, I forgot to tell you about the steam cave. its

 

basically a natural version of a sauna; its like a cave

 

with steam; <- super short synopsis of the amazing

 

cave; I really liked that cave cauz it kind of made

 

my skin really smooth hahaha, is that why people

 

go to saunas? idk. I wouldn't go to a sauna though,

 

its like so boring at least in the steam cave i can walk around

 

and explore the cave while getting 'steamed'

 

ok after that, there are stairs to go up the cave also;

 

to see the view i guess, of the entire area;

Then there is obviously a swimming pool also right.

hahaha, but my mum took a few pics of the pool with the

 

camera, but Im kind of lazy to upload it, so SORRY AGAIN,

 okay, then there's also a meditation cave o:

 

which is kinda scary for me. cauz its really quiet, (reasons

 

why its for people who want to meditate) anyways, I wasn't

 

able to take any pictures cauz it was pretty dark so I just

 

took a photo of this random picture frame thing..

 

 

 

There's also some spa and medication thing which I

 

didn't go; and there was also jungle trekking but there was

 

not enough time for us to go cauz going and coming back

 

takes about an hour.(at least) so yeah..

 

At last, we went out for dinner.(was very hungry)

 

 which was way better than lunch if you ask me. After that,

 

 we had supper/desserts at Starbucks ^^ yayyyyy. was happy

 

 cauz idk I was craving for a java chip frap.

The next day, i woke up pretty early but was considered late

 

(the usual) cauz even though almost everyone was like

 

already awake and getting all excited to take a walk or go for

 

a jog. there is me, being a slug. so yeah even though I

 

managed to get up at nine. NINE AM. I was still considered

 

one of the last to wake up D: anyways, after that I went out

 

to relax+drink hot chocolate+sleep again hahaha

 



 

That's about it. yay. finally blogged again :D *gives high five;
